We're married 22 years, 19 of which I've had Multiple Sclerosis. Not once has he thought life dealt him a bad hand. His love and devotion are unending. He's a pillar of strength, my source of laughter and an encourager that brightens my darkest days.

His greatest credit is giving me my most life altering experience of becoming accomplished at horseback riding and horsemanship. This has rocked my world!

We've worked together raising and training our beloved horse Rhia. Rain, shine, or blizzard Derrick grooms, saddles and helps me mount Rhia so I can ride twice a week. Faithfully Derrick walks with me as I ride, to ensure I'm safe and having fun. He has never complained that he's hot, cold, tired, or sore. He's always there providing a rewarding and special time together. He counts this a privelege to be a part of my horse experience and complex life.
